--> BGP Backdoor is a feature of BGP used to change the administrative distance of EBGP routes.
--> By default EBGP routes are having administrative distance of 20, If we use BGP backdoor then the administrative distance will be changed from 20 to 200.
--> BGP Backdoor is basically used to make IGP path as primary path for forwarding the traffic instead of EBGP Path.
--> To configure BGP Backdoor on the router
Router(config)# router bgp 100
Router(config-router)# network 10.0.0.0 mask 255.0.0.0 backdoor
--> As soon as you configure BGP Backdoor command the network will be seen as IBGP learned network and it will not be advertised back to any ebgp neighbors.
