--> DR is the Router which is highest IP address on the subnet whereas Querier is the Router which is the lowest IP address on the subnet.
--> Querier is responsible for sending the IGMP Queries to know which groups are active on the subnet.
--> Designated Router is the router which is responsible for following tasks
i) Sending PIM Join Messages to RP
ii) Sending PIM Prune Message to RP
iii) Sending Source Register Message
iv) Forwarding Multicast Traffic to the receivers.
v) Sending Register Messages to RP
---> In IGMPV1, DR and Querier both the functions are done by a single router.
---> In IGMPV2 DR and Querier both the functions are done by separate routers.
--> Querier and DR election will happen when more than one router is connected to multi access network..
--> Querier is responsible for sending the IGMP Queries to know which groups are active on the subnet.
In this diagram 80.101.1.1 the router will be elected as Querier Router.
