Cisco Unified CM Serviceability
Cisco Unified CM Serviceability allows administrators to perform the following tasks,
--> Activate, deactivate, start, stop, and restart network and feature services
--> Configure alarms and traces
--> Configure CDR disk storage and external billings servers
--> Configure SNMP settings and serviceability reports.
CUCM Operating System Admin Page
--> The CUCM Operating System Administration page allows configuration and management of the CUCM operating system.
--> With the help of the CUCM Operating System Administration page, we can check the following things,
i) software version of CUCM and hardware status.
ii) Configure NTP Servers and SMTP Servers.
iii) Upgrade system software.
iii) Check or Change IP address.
iv) Manage server security such as IPsec and certificates.
v) Ping to other devices in the network.
vi) Create Remote User Accounts for Cisco TAC.
Vii) Upload the files to CUCM by using TFTP Server.
DRS
--> The Disaster Recovery System allows to perform backup and restore tasks on CUCM.
--> DRS allows you to perform Manual, Scheduled, and Automatic Backup on CUCM.
--> It also monitors the current restore status.
Cisco Unified Reporting
--> With the help of Cisco Unified Reporting, we can create run and download system reports.
--> When you generate a report in Cisco Unified Reporting, the report combines data from one or more sources on one or more servers into one output view.
--> The Cisco Unified Reporting page has a list of System Reports available on the left-hand side of the screen.
CUCM Administration Interface
The CUCM Administration web interface provides the following functions:
■ System configuration, including CUCM groups, presence groups, device mobility groups, device pools, regions, locations, phone security profile, and so on
■ Call-routing configuration, including dial rules, route patterns, call hunting, time-of-day routing, partitioning and CSS, intercom, call park, call pickup, and so on
■ Media resource configuration, including conference bridges, transcoders, music on hold (MOH), media termination points (MTP), and so on
■ Voice-mail configuration
■ Device configuration, including gateways, gatekeepers, trunks, IP phones, and so on
■ Application configuration, including the manager - assistant, attendant console, and so on
■ User management, including end-users, application users, groups, and role configuration
