--> Each and Every Listener associated with two tables
i) HAT ( Host Access Table)
ii) RAT ( Recipient Access Table)
HAT( Host Access Table)
--> Specifies which senders can connect to the listener of ESA.
--> It can be remote hosts( which are sending emails from the Internet), Internal Hosts( Sending emails from Internal Network).
--> All these hosts are combined into some groups and called as Sender Groups.
--> When the listener receives SMTP connection, it compares the source IP address in the HAT table. If the Source IP address is found in HAT table then it will apply the configured policy.
RAT( Remote Access Table)
--> Specifies from which receivers it can accept emails.
--> We must specify all the local domains in the RAT table.
--> Whenever any SMTP connection comes to the ESA, it checks Recipient domain in RAT table.
--> If it is allowed then only it accepts SMTP Connection.
--> Every Public Listener has HAT table and RAT table.
--> Every Private Listener has only HAT table.
