--> OSPF SPF Throttling is a feature which improves the convergence.
--> By default whenever the router receives any new lsa, simply the router is going to run SPF algorithm. But the main problem occurs when the router receives so many lsa's then for each lsa it will run SPF algorithm which causes high cpu utilization.
--> OSPF SPF Throttling feature is developed to prevent this problem, with SPF Throttling whenever router receives large number of lsa's instead of calculating SPF algorithm immediately it will wait for some time ( SPF Waiting) then it will calculates SPF algorithm only once.
--> There is one more convergence mechanism used in OSPF ( Incremental SPF).
--> Incremental SPF allows only the affected routers to run SPF Algorithm, instead of all routers.
